Global Christian Evangelism Leaders Unite for Historic Covenant Signing
August 28, 2025 – Minneapolis, MN
Leaders from some of the world’s most influential evangelism movements gathered at the Embassy Suites – Minneapolis Airport on August 26–27, 2025, for the Evangelism Roundtable, a two-day summit marked by a spirit of collaboration and shared vision for the future of global gospel witness.
Diverse Leaders, Shared Vision
The Roundtable brought together senior leaders from across the global body of Christ, representing more than a dozen organizations with unique strengths in mobilization, church planting, discipleship, media, and personal evangelism. Among those present were representatives from the Advance, Baptist World Alliance, Billion Soul Harvest, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Dare to Share, Evangelism Explosion, Every Home for Christ, Finishing the Task, GO Movement, Innovations for Gospel Impact, International Care Ministries, Jesus Film/Cru, Oasis/One Minute Witness, Praise Live, and YWAM.
These participants reflected the unity and broad spectrum of the global Christian Church—spanning generations, denominational traditions, and geographic contexts—all bound by a common passion: seeing every believer equipped and personally sharing the Gospel until every nation is reached with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Signing of the Evangelism Covenant
The highlight of the gathering was the signing of the Evangelism Roundtable Covenant, a declaration of shared commitment to accelerate gospel engagement worldwide. The covenant affirms:
100 Million Lifestyle Witnesses – mobilizing believers everywhere to share Christ personally.
Activating Pentecost – uniting prayer, evangelism, and worship.
Every Country Roundtables – fostering national collaborations to multiply gospel impact.
“This covenant represents more than words on paper—it is a commitment of heart and action,” said Werner Nachtigal of the GO Movement. “We believe that together, in prayerful dependence on God, we can see the nations reached in this generation.”
By signing the covenant, participants pledged to pray together, collaborate through shared strategies, measure collective progress, and provide mutual support as they seek to normalize faith-sharing around the world. At its core, this covenant was an expression of the Church’s deepest longing: to love Jesus and glorify Him through bold witness to the nations.
A Milestone in Collective Mission
Reflecting on the spirit of the Roundtable, Dave Gibson of the Global Alliance for Church Multiplication quoted Antoine de Saint-Exupéry:
“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.”
This spirit of yearning—for Jesus, His glory, and His gospel to be known to the ends of the earth—characterized the tone of the Roundtable.
Looking Ahead
Participants concluded the gathering with prayer, envisioning 2025 as the launch year of acceleration for gospel engagement initiatives, looking toward 2033—the 2000th anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ—as a defining moment for the global Church’s witness.
